Nothing special but good
This is a very expensive area so the hotel daily rate should not be compared with what you'd get somewhere else. I travelled by public transport and it's 30 minutes from the CalTrain station (which is a few stops from Santa Clara which us reached by a free bus from the airport). The room was comfortable with everything one might expect. Wash basin outside the bathroom. Good hanging space. Working desk with a nice bright light and lots of socket outlets. Despite being next to the Camino Real, my ground floor street view room was quiet enough. Dark all the time I was in the hotel so don't know what it looks like in daylight! Excellent breakfast with hot food as well as usual hotel breakfast fare. Did not us AC buy put it on for a few minutes to heat up the room... Was quiet. Staff were friendly. Check out was fine

Freindly staff and good room
In this area there are no cheap hotels and at $200 a night this isn't but compared to some downtown it's actually almost reasonable. Common areas aren't in the best state, it's all a little worn, but the room itself was better and so was perfectly fine. Standard tv and reasonable WiFi though it did drop a couple of times. Staff were freindly and helpful where I interacted with them and the provided breakfast was basic but adequate if you needed to get moving. I was on the back of the building which was a blessing, I stay on UK time for short trips so was awake at 2am and I found I could hear noise from the very busy w elcamino real all night. Lights in the room are also poor, energy saver bulbs proliferate around US hotels which would be fine if they went for the more natural LED's rather than the dull yellow fluorescent tubes. Finding non fast food in the area was quite challenging as well. Overall it's not perfect but for the price in this area it's fine and I would stay here again

Megan front desk was amazing!
Megan from the front desk was very nice and helpful with the check in and she even provided us information with what we can do around. She even wrote a list with the main activities that we can do the next day. I wish all the people that work in a hotel to be like her because that gives you the first vibe of the place. The room was very clean and comfortable
