Located in Santa Clara, California's Great America is an exciting amusement and waterpark destination perfect for days of family filled fun. The Bay Area's most exciting theme park electrifies you with thrill rides, water slides, family attractions and Gold Striker - the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in Northern California. Kids can enjoy interactive live shows in Kidzville, such as Happiness is Snoopy and Peanuts Party in the Plaza.

Discounts/Special Pricing

Daily tickets online are $45.99, and $59.99 at the gate. Purchase the Season Pass and enjoy unlimited access to Great America and Boomerang Bay with a Season Pass - $59.99 (Adults) and $39.99 (Juniors/Seniors). Upgrade to the Gold Season Pass and you'll receive unlimited admission to Great America, Boomerang Bay, Halloween Haunt, and free season long parking - Adults $89.00, Junior/Seniors $59.99.
Great Americas offers a discount off the regular Front Gate admission price to active military members.

Parking and transportation to/from park

Catch the light rail or hop on the VTA bus #59 for a direct stop in front of California's Great America theme park at the Great America Station. Located 2 miles from Hotel Vue, the Whishman Light Rail Station is the ideal transport from our hotel guest visiting the park.
Parking is available in adjacent parking lots for $15. RV parking is offered for $22 per vehicle and parking is free for school and tour buses. A limited number of handicap spaces are reserved near the Front Gate.

    California's Great America offers a variety of special events throughout the season that families can enjoy together, including Entertainment Audition Tour, Opening Day Celebration, Dance Days, Homeschool Day, Career Development Day and Performing Arts Day.
  • Can I bring food into the park?

    California's Great America offers a variety of food and beverage vendors with pizza, burgers, hotdogs, and snacks, while enjoying the park. No outside coolers, beverages or food are allowed to be brought into California's Great America. However, special dietary needs, baby food and formula are permitted.
